Campaign 1.0: makeup brush manufacturer WOBS x makeup artist Roksolana Kovalyuk
In a world where makeup is a canvas for art, our brand of makeup brushes WoBs created the campaign “Drawing Trends” — a hymn to the freedom of creativity, where every stroke comes alive with the Ukrainian soul. This WoBs campaign our team created by putting heart into every detail — from sketches to shades. The idea was born to show the beauty of Ukrainian culture through makeup, inspiring makeup artists to discover their unique “self.” At the center is makeup artist Roksolana Kovalyuk, whose hands, together with models Katia, Karina, Diana, and a team of creatives, created magic where every frame is love for Ukraine.

Since September 2023, we have been creating a project that transforms the face into living canvases of Ukrainian heritage. Roksolana Kovalyuk, a makeup artist, became the soul of the campaign. Her drawings, always full of symbolism and emotions, came alive on the models. “We put our soul, colors, feelings for Ukraine into it,” she shares. On Katia, a peacock bloomed — a proud symbol of Petrykivka, whose feathers sparkle with colors painted using a miniature WoBs brush that allowed capturing the smallest details. Karina shone with blue Petrykivka flowers twining like a living legend, while Diana embodied Samchakivka with its characteristic jagged patterns whispering about age-old wisdom. And it was the makeup brushes used in the campaign that made it possible to convey the elegance of lines, the depth of color, and the emotionality of Ukrainian ornaments. Roksolana, together with talented models and the team of cameramen, worked in tandem to show: WoBs brushes are about inspiration.

Roksolana, who works with props and drawings that create her own world of emotions, notes: “When I painted — I breathed. I always painted what I liked.” This project became a return to oneself. “With these drawings we breathed again,” she says.
Every makeup artist, like every painter, strives to buy makeup brushes that allow drawing perfect lines and do not lose their shape and elasticity after the first wash. In WoBs, Roksolana found not one, but a whole variety of forms that embodied the intended images with flawless precision.
