Campaign 2.0: Ukrainian makeup brush manufacturer Wobs x Tatyana Matvienko (Tyutyushka)
To be genuine, to be free, to be together. These words became the heart of our campaign “We Paint Our Own Happiness”, which was born in the heart of Mykolaiv — a city that smells of acacias and the river, a city that became a symbol of resilience and love. This WoBs campaign is not just a project, it is a story about the strength of spirit, about faith in oneself and in the people nearby, about creativity that overcomes difficulties, about support without which it is impossible to endure, and about love that fills every day with meaning. It is a story about how we, despite the challenges of war, choose to create happiness with our own hands, brushes, and hearts.
The idea was born at the moment when our Ukrainian brand of professional makeup brushes WoBs felt the need to say something important. The full-scale invasion changed life, but we sought a way to remind about love, hope, and how important it is to remain united. Inspiration was given by Tyutyushka, a makeup artist from Mykolaiv, who became the main heroine of the project, and her ability to see beauty in every face and convey emotions through makeup became the foundation of the concept. Thanks to the sincerity of the models and the talent of the cameramen, we managed to capture every detail and convey the meanings we invested. The symbols of the campaign became poppies — as an image of tenderness, strength, and at the same time as memory and hope — and the vyshyvanka as the genetic code of our people, as heritage that unites generations.
WoBs Brushes: Brushes That Paint Stories
Through this campaign we, as the manufacturer of Wobs makeup brushes that puts a particle of inspiration into every tool, wanted to convey the values that we carry through art. Love, unity, creativity, and support — this is what unites us in difficult times. Every look became not just makeup, but a story. The poppies, realized with the help of miniature WoBs brushes, bloomed on the faces of the models, symbolizing rebirth. The vyshyvanka, passed from a girl to a boy, showed that love and heritage are stronger than any challenges.
